Content by Terence Conran to Open New Showroon at Dickens Yard
Content by Terence Conran was established in 2003 by Sir Terence Conran, founder of Habitat and The Conran Shop. The Content by Terence Conran collection offers a range of stylish modern and contemporary upholstery and cabinet furniture. The new store at Dickens Yard will be the second London showroom for the brand following the success of the first showroom in Park Royal.
Craig Carson, Managing Director of St George West London, said:
"Dickens Yard is fast becoming the leading lifestyle destination for West London with a broad range of retail, restaurants and wellbeing brands set to open in 2018. Content by Terence Conran is a fantastic design brand and will help diversify the mix of retail on offer at Dickens Yard."
Mike Kingsbury, Managing Director of Content by Terence Conran, said:
"Content by Terence Conran is delighted to be coming to Dickens Yard in the heart of Ealing. We are thrilled to be located in the Old Fire Station, and will be offering our range of contemporary furniture, along with a selection of carefully curated homewares and gifts.
"Terence has an affinity to showing ranges of contemporary homewares in historic buildings and this location fits that criteria perfectly."
On completion, Dickens Yard will comprise 700 new homes, 104,000 sq ft of retail and a stunning new public square. St George has curated a vibrant new destination for the West London community with a range of lifestyle brands now open including Triyoga, Charlotte's W5 and Benham & Reeves. Content by Terence Conran is the latest announcement in a wave of recent commercial lettings which are set to open at Dickens Yard this year such as Tonkotsu, Balans Soho Society, Gail's Bakery, Gymbox, Blo Bar, Kumon, The Skinny Kitchen and Jigsaw.
Dickens Yard is an important part of the wider regeneration of Ealing ahead of the arrival of the Elizabeth Line at Ealing Broadway station in 2019. The new station will halve journey times to central London, with travel to Bond Street in 11 minutes, Liverpool Street in 18 minutes and Canary Wharf in 25 minutes. Heathrow Airport terminals two and three will be just 14 minutes away via the new line.
