11 January 2019

St George, London's leading developer, announces that Content by Terence Conran has opened at Dickens Yard, Ealing.

Content by Terence Conran was established in 2003 by Sir Terence Conran, renowned British design and founder of Habitat and The Conran Shop. Offering a relaxed and informal range of furniture for contemporary living, Content by Terence Conran collections include stylish and modern upholstery and cabinet furniture using natural, authentic materials. Dickens Yard is the second London showroom for the brand following the success of the first in Park Royal.

Steve Kirwan, Operations Director, St George West London, said:

"We are delighted to welcome Content by Terence Conran to Dickens Yard. It's a fantastic seal of approval to have one of the country's most revered designers choose to open a new showroom in our neighbourhood.

Mike Kingsbury, Managing Director, Content by Terence Conran, said:

"We are thrilled to be opening our new furniture and home accessories showroom in the Old Fire Station building, which is part of theDickens Yard development. Sir Terence Conran has been associated for a long time with the regeneration of historic buildings and he is delighted with this latest addition."

Dickens Yard is a new destination in Ealing comprising 700 homes, a range of public spaces and an array of lifestyle brands, many of which are now opening including Tonkotsu, No.17 bar and restaurant, Gail's Bakery, Triyoga, Blo Bar, The Kumon Centre, Charlotte's W5 and Benham & Reeves. These shops and restaurant are soon to joined by further additions to the neighbourhood including Gymbox, Jigsaw and Balans Soho Society in 2019.

Dickens Yard is playing a significant role in the wider regeneration of Ealing ahead of the arrival of the Elizabeth Line at Ealing Broadway station. The expanded frequency of the Elizabeth line will see commutes reduced and journeys made easier via new, high-capacity trains. The new station will halve journey times to central London, with travel to Bond Street in 11 minutes, Liverpool Street in 18 minutes and Canary Wharf in 25 minutes. Heathrow Airport terminals two and three will be just 14 minutes away via the new line.
